Mortal Shell II Editions — Standard vs Devout vs Revered
Three editions, three price points, one game. Here's exactly what each Mortal Shell II edition includes before you pre-order, based on the official store listings.
Standard Edition — $49.99
The base game on Steam, PS5 and Xbox Series X|S. This is the plain version: Mortal Shell II at launch on August 20, 2026. If you pre-order the Standard edition you still get the pre-order bonus (the Skeletal and Obsidian Harbinger skins) — the bonus isn't locked to the pricier editions.
Devout Edition — $59.99
The digital upgrade that's getting all the attention. Devout adds:
- Up to 72 hours of early access — play before the official Aug 20 release.
- Skeletal Harbinger Skin (pre-order bonus, also in Standard).
- Obsidian Harbinger Skin (pre-order bonus).
That's a $10 jump for three days early plus two skins. The early access is the real value if you're planning a launch-weekend run — the skins are cosmetic.
Revered Edition — physical collector's
The collector's tier. From the official site, it includes a physical artbook, a steelbook case, fine art prints and digital extras — plus the two exclusive Harbinger skins for pre-orderers. Pricing varies by retailer (retail SKUs in some regions have been listed around R1,099 locally). If you're a physical-collector person, this is the one; if you just want the game, Standard or Devout is plenty.
Which one should you get?
- Standard ($49.99) — the game, nothing extra. Right choice if you're fine waiting until Aug 20.
- Devout ($59.99) — worth it if the 72-hour early access matters to you (it's the only gameplay difference).
- Revered — only for collectors who want the physical package.
