Big Ambitions 1.0 — What's New
Hovgaard Games has been drip-feeding 1.0 details through Steam news posts since the release date dropped. Here's everything confirmed so far — and the honest note that the full patch notes aren't out yet.
Confirmed so far
- Pricing Manager employee: a new staff role that can update prices for all items in an entire neighborhood at once. Higher-skilled versions suggest the best prices for you each day. If you've ever spent an hour re-pricing a dozen shops manually, this is aimed straight at you.
- Import/export rework: exporting goods now affects the import index. Over-produce and you'll drag down that item's import/export price for the rest of the week — the devs explicitly call out "make sure you're not overproducing."
- 1.0 beta: the launch build went into community beta testing in early August 2026, so the full release has had real playtesting behind it.
What carries over
Everything from the Early Access years: Steam Workshop mods (shipped in 0.11), the New York districts, vehicles, staff management, and the character simulation layer. The 1.0 update is free for everyone who already owns the game.
Still to come
- Full 1.0 patch notes (not published as of Aug 17, 2026)
- Any post-launch roadmap announcements
- Console versions — none announced, Windows PC only for now
