How Long Is Big Walk?
Most groups report around 10–15 hours to reach the ending, with completionist runs stretching to 20 or more. There's no official number from House House — these are community figures from the first weeks after launch.
Roughly 10–15 hours for a normal co-op playthrough.
Community reports since the Aug 4, 2026 launch consistently land in that range, with faster groups closer to 8–10 and completionist runs 15–20+.
What affects your playtime
- Group size and pace. Bigger groups wander more. If everyone's stopping to talk (the point of the game), sessions run long.
- Puzzle familiarity. The world is full of environmental puzzles; figuring them out together is most of the runtime.
- Completionism. Finding everything the world hides easily doubles the time versus a straight run to the ending.
- No timers, no fail states. The game never forces speed, so your playtime is whatever your group makes of it.
Planning a session
- It's a game you play in chunks — a couple of hours per session works well.
- Because there's no fail state, you can stop anywhere and pick it up another day.
- If you're deciding whether it's worth $14.99 at 10–15 hours: that's a fair rate for a co-op game with this much craft.
