Is Brigador Killers worth buying in Early Access?

The case for buying now
If you're already a Brigador fan, this is the least risky version of the follow-up to buy. The studio isn't a mystery — Stellar Jockeys has a decade of goodwill from the original, which is still beloved in its niche. The combat loop the community has been playing in the demo since spring is solid: infantry play, a huge gun selection, and a deliberate pace that rewards planning over reflex-spam. Add in the game sits at its full $24.99 now that the 10% launch discount has ended, and you're getting the foundation of the game, with the studio's track record as the buffer against the usual Early Access roulette.
The case for waiting
It's Early Access. The Steam listing itself says the campaign is still being built toward the full 1.0 vision, which means the story is a work in progress right now. And this game is hard — the original was brutal, and Killers has carried that DNA. If you bounce off punishing gameplay, or you want to play the whole campaign in one sitting, waiting for 1.0 is the smarter move. You also won't miss much financially: the 10% discount is a launch opener, but the game will go on sale again eventually.

Try the free demo. The answer to "is it worth buying" almost always lives there. If the demo's combat clicks and you're comfortable with Early Access jank and a campaign being built out, $24.99 is a reasonable price for what's here and the studio's promise.
