Brigador Killers release date & Early Access roadmap
Brigador Killers entered Steam Early Access on Aug 20, 2026, five months after a playable demo dropped in the spring. Here's what actually shipped on day one, what the roadmap to 1.0 looks like, and what platforms it's on.
When did it launch?
Early Access went live Aug 20, 2026 at $22.49 with a 10% launch discount off the $24.99 list price. Before that, the studio had been showing the game off steadily: an official demo trailer in May 2026, a "Make Them Pay" demo that's been free on Steam ever since, and an Early Access date trailer in July. So the build people are playing at launch is effectively the demo plus however much campaign the team got into the EA release.
What's in the Early Access launch build?
Per the Steam listing, this is a work-in-progress campaign. The launch version has the core infantry-and-vehicle combat loop in place — the thing the demo proved out — but the full campaign is still being built toward the 1.0 vision. That's the normal Early Access trade: you're buying the foundation and the studio's plan, not a finished story.

The roadmap (best read as a plan, not a promise)
Stellar Jockeys hasn't published a hard date for full 1.0. The stated direction is to expand the campaign toward the full insurgent-story arc — the "bring the war home to the businessmen" throughline from the Steam description. For a live roadmap, the Steam store page and the official Stellar Jockeys channel are the ones to watch, since EA dates and patch plans shift as builds shake out.
Platforms
Windows PC on Steam right now. No console release has been announced, and there's no confirmed Mac or Linux build yet — if that's your platform, hold off before assuming.
Price
It launched at $22.49 with a 10% cut off the $24.99 list price. That opener has ended and it is back to $24.99. The free demo has been out for months, so it is still the zero-risk way to decide first.
