Confirmed platforms
- PC: Steam and Epic Games Store — both listed in the official release announcement.
- PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S: confirmed in the release date trailer and announcement coverage.
- Nintendo Switch: confirmed alongside the rest, per the October 29 announcement.
No Switch 2-specific version had been announced as of late August 2026 — the listed platform is Switch.
The price situation
Here's the honest part: no price has been posted yet. The Steam page is up with the release date and store listing, but the price field is still TBA. Anyone quoting a number before an official announcement is guessing — the pattern of comparable Telltale re-releases doesn't count as a fact. Expect pricing to land in the weeks before launch, and the Steam page remains the authority.

Why the price isn't listed yet
It's not unusual this early. The store listing went live with the announcement in June, but Telltale has historically announced pricing closer to release — the announcement trailer, the Noir Mode trailer and the release date all came first, and the price question has been a running theme in the comments on each. The honest position: plan on the Steam page as the source of truth, and don't lock into a third-party preorder price that quotes a number nobody has officially set.
Can I carry over my old save?
Unconfirmed. Telltale hasn't said whether 2013-era saves or episode choices transfer into the remaster. Given the original shipped on PC, PS3, Xbox 360, PS4, Xbox One and mobile, a universal carry-over would be a technical headache — expect a fresh start until proven otherwise, and keep your old save files safe just in case.
Physical edition
A boxed release was confirmed — Telltale and PM Studios announced physical versions, with the community catching the confirmation the same day it went out. Ordering details (which regions, what the box includes) hadn't fully landed at the time of writing, so treat the physical edition as confirmed-in-principle and watch the official channels for pre-order pages.
